Below is a picture that is called a double negative. What this means is that you put two negatives on top of eachother and then shine the light on your picture. It is very easy, but gives the picture much more to look at. As you can see i incorperated a tree and myself into this because it also goes along with my theme.
This is my solarization picture. What this means is when developing a picture, you only keep it in the developer until you start to see the picture. Then you put it under the light without the negative for around 2 seconds. Lastly, you put the picture back in the developer for the remainder of the time. This gives your dark edges a white shade.
Below is a picture of my word project. The objective was to use objects to spell out a word that goes along with your theme. Since my theme was flowers and nature, i decided to choose the word tulip. Finding objects was simple, and developing was not hard either. Different compositions make the picture more interesting and stand out.
The next three pictures below are shadow portraits. The objective for this was to shine light onto objects then onto your face to catch a shadow. I used things like posters, and cup holders to make my shadows. Anything with open lines or designs can work. I chose three different faces to show emotions that everyone goes through from time to time.
The last three pictures are pictures that were developed without using film. For this you can use anything you would like. I chose things that reminded me of my theme. I also tried to fill up the entire peice of paper to make the composition look better. What i did is took my objects and put them on top of my paper, then put both under a glass to expose the paper. The glass helps keep everything together so nothing moves. Each of these represents nature in a way that is creative and fun.
